Requirements

Not all phones and tablets are built the same way. Each has a different screen and logical pixel resolution that renders content on the screen.

While we make every effort to adapt Mahjong Huat to every known popular phone and tablet, there are limitations to the game.

As you probably know, a full game of Mahjong has 148 tiles, typically 90 tiles in the Wall at the beginning of the game and an average of about 13 to 15 tiles per player in the open hand. If it's a No-Win game, about 90 tiles in the Discard Pile. That is quite a bit of tiles to render on a smaller device for a game like Mahjong Huat for one to be serious about enjoying the game.

As such, we have decided to work with devices that are only above 380 pixels by 830 pixels. These are logical pixels and not the physical resolution of the phone. Each phone may have a larger physical pixel, but logical pixels are the ones that allow content to be rendered accurately.
